With the start of the new academic year, a new Taksvärkki Campaign is also getting underway! Now we are talking about hope and standing up for every young person’s right to a future.
Who gets to hope?
In the ‘Who Gets to Hope?’ campaign for the 2026–2027 academic year, we are boosting young people’s hope. Without hope, there is no future. We want every young person to be able to have confidence in the future and to shape it.
The ‘Who Gets to Hope?’ website has been launched and registration for the Taksvärkki Fundraising Campaign is now open! Visit the site to read what young people in Kenya and Finland have to say about hope and watch video messages from Kenya.

Organize a Taksvärkki Day
You can organize your Taksvärkki Day on any day during the school year. During the Taksvärkki Workday, the students work a few hours in order to earn a pay. The pay is then donated to the Taksvärkki Fundraising. Read the guidelines (in Finnish) for organising a Taksvärkki Day here.
As well as taking part in the Taksvärkki Fundraising Campaign, we also recommend booking a free workshop led by a Taksvärkki ry school visitor. The workshop involves exploring young people’s relationship with the future from different perspectives.
Enroll your school
