Taksvärkki is looking for an evaluator to carry out an evaluation on a development cooperation programme

Taksvärkki (Operation a Day’s Work Finland) is a Finnish non-governmental organization that strives to promote youth rights and strengthen youth participation, and combines global citizenship education and development communication to this work.

We are looking for a consultant to carry out an evaluation on our development cooperation programme ”Youth as Changemakers”.

The focus of this evaluation is two-fold:

  • to provide information related to the functioning of the Taksvärkki development cooperation programme as a whole.
  • to enhance this analysis through field assessments of two projects part of Taksvärkki programme; the projects implemented in Malawi and Zambia.

The evaluation is meant to provide an opportunity for learning for Taksvärkki and its partners, while also producing evidence of the outcomes achieved during the current programme period and guiding the planning of the new programme. The evaluation is to employ the principles of utilization-focused evaluation using an Outcome Harvesting (OH) approach. This will be combined with a desk review and interviews of other relevant stakeholders to analyse the programme approach with a broader perspective.

See details on the terms of reference, here.

Deadline for proposals is 22nd of March. Taksvärkki will select the evaluator(s) based on their proposals by 30th of March.
